1. The fluctuation of the inlet pressure of the pressure reducing valve should be controlled at 80c/o-105c/o of the inlet pressure given value. If it exceeds this range, the performance of the pressure reducing valve will be affected.

2. Generally, the post-valve pressure Pc of the pressure reducing valve should be less than 0.5 times the pre-valve pressure, that is, Pc < 0.5P1.
3. Each spring of the pressure reducing valve is only applicable within a certain range of outlet pressure. If the range of the pressure reducing spring is exceeded, attention should be paid to the selection of the pressure spring.
4. In the case of high working temperature of the medium, the pilot piston type pressure reducing valve or the pilot type bellows pressure reducing valve is generally used.
5. When the medium is air or water (liquid), it is generally preferred to use a direct acting piston type pressure reducing valve or a diaphragm type pressure reducing valve.
6. When the medium is steam, a pilot piston type pressure reducing valve or a pilot bellows type pressure reducing valve should be used.
